On January 7, Prescott Regional Airport celebrated a groundbreaking for its new passenger terminal. In late 2019, the City of Prescott was notified of approval for funding in the amount of $10 Million from the Federal Aviation Administration from the supplemental fund, for construction of a new passenger terminal at Prescott Regional Airport (PRC). This funding had been anticipated for several months, and will lead to groundbreaking for a new terminal.
“This is an important day for the City of Prescott,” said Mayor Greg Mengarelli. “This brings PRC one step closer to this important new chapter in passenger service at Prescott Regional Airport.”
The terminal is on schedule for completion in early 2021.
